18.5.4
Home based instruction students are categorized as private/alternative education students. Therefore, to be eligible to participate in interscholastic contests/competitions, the student must:
A.
Meet both WIAA and school district eligibility requirement standards of all students, including transfer student requirements.
B.
Meet and adhere to the same team responsibilities and standards of behavior and performance of other members of the
team/squad.
C. Participate as a
member of the public school in which service area they reside with their family unit.
D. Provide the school
administration acceptable documentation of any interscholastic eligibility standards required of all other student participants.
E.
Comply with WIAA and local school regulations during the time of participation.
F. Comply with RCW 28A.225.010
(4).
G. Provide to school authorities
all required forms and documentation.
